Sunflowers (3-5 yrs) 

Our Children are developing self help skills at this stage and are supported and encouraged to grow in independence.  This is developed by involving children in independently utilising a snack bar enabling them to select a variety of fresh / dried fruits, salads and a drink at their snack time.

Our Children also thrive at all meal times where enjoy conversing with peers and practitioners about their day and special times.

Our Children have access to a large partially sheltered outdoor area, this leads directly onto a secure grassed area containing an all weather sand pit. The children particularly enjoy the freedom to explore their surroundings in an uninhibited manner.

Throughout the day our Children also have access to sand, water, dough, painting, sticking, ICT equipment and a vast variety of construction and small world toys to compliment their developing imaginations.
